At what age can someone start archery? 

Here at Muddy Bayou Archery we have found that 6 is a good age begin learning, This ensures that the safety of all students.

What types of archery do you teach?

We teach Genesis, compound and traditional archery.

How much do archery lessons cost?

Monthly tuition is $55 per student for a one hour weekly lesson, or $65 for two one hour weekly lessons. This covers the lessons, a size appropriate bow, and arrows to shoot.

Beginners

All beginning archers will attend Wednesday at 5pm, 6 pm, or 7pm.  Please contact us to arrange a starting date and time.

Established archers

established archers shoot on tuesdays and thursdays at 5pm, 6pm or 7pm. please contact us to arrange a starting date and time.

What do the facilities offer?

Here at Muddy Bayou Archery, we can shoot targets up to 30 meters in the building and up to 60 meters outside. We offer bale targets and 3d targets.

Do you have a competition team?

Yes! Students must earn a spot on the competition team.

can adults shoot too?

Mondays are generally for adults, and the cost is $10 per session including a target. Some students practice on Mondays. Times are 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm. Please contact us to get started.
